I’m Kristen,

a white, cis-gender, able-bodied woman who identifies as she/her/hers. My goal here on earth is to embody and inspire a deep sense of freedom within myself and others, empowering all of us to live fully. I recognize the deep privilege I hold in this world and because I believe in freedom for all, I am committed to challenging and dismantling systems of oppression specifically against marginalized folks and the forces that degrade the earth. I want to illuminate our interconnectedness and I advocate for care at all levels, starting with yourself. I believe that all humans possess the power to heal themselves.

My commitments

As someone you’re trusting to guide and support you, I believe it’s essential to share the principles and actions that keep me accountable in our work together.

  1. I commit to creating and upholding love and compassion for myself and others

  2. I vow to move slowly and intentionally in my interactions. Slowness allows for clarity, ease, and is a direct act of resistance to the fast-paced demands of our current world.

  3. I commit to learning and evolving alongside others, and I will admit when I don’t have the answers or the right guidance to offer. If applicable, I will work to find you someone else who may be able to help you. As I change, I will continue to adapt my offerings based on new insights, knowledge, and perspectives.

  4. I commit to taking accountability when I make mistakes and work towards repair.

  5. I commit to work with people from all walks of life and will continuously seek to understand cultures, beliefs, and identities that differ from my own.

  6. I commit to cultivating freedom in myself, my communities, and especially towards marginalized folks through actions such as reparations for BIPOC communities through sliding scales, scholarships, and donations to mutual aid funds. I will center marginalized voices across my work and personal spheres.

  7. In the same commitment of freedom, I vow to actively dismantle white supremacy and challenge the silence surrounding it.

  8. I commit to fostering hope and joy, working towards a better future. .

What makes me qualified to be a coach or a facilitator?

In addition to serving in both corporate and nonprofit worlds as an advisor to key decision makers, I’ve worked closely with others to develop resources, hold space, and facilitate mental well-being initiatives. I am currently in the process of gaining certification of somatic training through the Somatic Nature Therapy course, which will provide me with additional skills in somatic practices.
